Abegail Aguirre

I am a Registered Psychometrician and a Cum Laude graduate of BA Applied Psychology from the University of the Philippines, with experience spanning counseling support, research, event coordination, and advocacy-focused communication. My work is grounded in people-centered and evidence-based approaches, with a strong interest in using research and creative communication to support social development, mental health, and community engagement initiatives.

I have hands-on experience producing educational and advocacy materials, including posters, social media graphics, scripts, and visual content, through my internship at the UP Diliman Gender Office and leadership roles in university-wide events and organizations. These roles required close collaboration with diverse teams, adherence to branding and messaging guidelines, and translating complex social issues into clear, engaging, and accessible materials for varied audiences.

My research background includes presenting a conference paper, where I developed skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and clear communication of findings. I am proficient in Canva, Google Workspace, and MS Office, with working knowledge of design principles, layout, and visual storytelling.

I am particularly interested in opportunities that allow me to contribute to social impact, volunteerism, and development work—especially roles that combine communication, design, and community engagement. I value collaborative environments, continuous learning, and work that meaningfully supports individuals and communities.
