Abe Bloomquist

I am a Junior Computer Science student at Brigham Young University with hands-on experience across web development, systems programming, and data-oriented tasks. I combine academic knowledge from advanced software construction, computer systems, and algorithm design with practical project work in multiple programming languages.

My technical strengths include proficiency in C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS, and I apply efficient data structures and software engineering practices to solve problems. I have contributed to team-driven deliveries and adapt quickly to unstructured work situations requiring careful evaluation.

In work settings I have supported operations and customer-facing roles, from delivery logistics to medical triage, demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and the ability to manage high-volume workflows. I also bring practical trade experience through an electrician apprenticeship where I installed electrical systems from technical schematics.

I am motivated to apply my full-stack and systems skills in internships or junior developer roles where I can continue learning, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow toward more advanced engineering responsibilities.
