I’ve spent the last five years building and scaling large, high-throughput transactional systems in Node.js/TypeScript with PostgreSQL. I design RESTful and event-driven APIs across internal and external systems, including mobile POS integrations, and I model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and stored functions for distributed workloads.

At Esketchers, I’ve been working with Lula Commerce, a venture-backed U.S. convenience-retail platform digitizing operations for 2,000+ stores. I helped build and maintain ~9 backend microservices (stores, orders, inventory, partner integrations) and tuned PostgreSQL using EXPLAIN-driven query work.

I’ve also owned reliability end-to-end: APM-based monitoring and alerting, triage, and incident resolution. For example, I diagnosed and fixed a production pricing defect affecting customer charges, and I reviewed 65+ pull requests while helping establish a multi-tier QA process with Zod validation and unit tests.

On the integrations side, I designed webhook-based order ingestion at ~24K orders/week with idempotent processing to prevent duplicate orders under at-least-once delivery. I use Claude Code daily to accelerate delivery, and I’m deepening my ML foundations through the DeepLearning.AI Machine Learning Specialization (in progress).
