At Tata Consultancy Services, I managed and optimised SQL Server and Oracle databases, maintaining 99.9% uptime for enterprise clients. I also engineered SQL queries and stored procedures that reduced manual reporting time by ~30%.
For my MSc thesis at Maynooth University, I investigated whether ARWU and QS ranking indicators could be reproduced from open data. I reconstructed ARWU's Nature & Science indicator, achieving R² = 0.945 and a 54% RMSE improvement over baseline.
In my cybercrime analysis project, I led data cleaning and analysis of a 190-city dataset in R, then delivered the findings in a reproducible R Markdown report. The analysis found that fraud accounted for ~60% of incidents.
I also built Studywell, a full-stack student wellbeing platform using React, Node.js/Express and MongoDB. I containerised it with Docker Compose and used Nginx as a reverse proxy.
