I refactored Node.js microservices, introduced caching, tuned database partitioning/indexing, and cut AWS spend by 10% while reducing average API latency from 400 ms to 250 ms.

I also optimized query performance on a 4TB PostgreSQL database, maintaining p95 sub-50ms response times through indexing and partitioning strategies for real-time analytics at scale. Beyond dashboards, I engineered a template builder and workflow engine to transition paper-based workflows (permit-to-work and incident management) into efficient digital solutions.

I lead and mentor engineering teams, and I enjoy setting quality and delivery habits that compound over time. I built and deployed an enterprise RAG chatbot with Text-to-SQL analytics and semantic search across product documentation with strict RBAC and AI guardrails, and I introduced CI/CD, structured code reviews, and sprint rituals that lowered escaped defects and cut release cycle time by 20%.
