Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vocational Rehabilitation Program Manager to lead our initiatives aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities through comprehensive vocational rehabilitation services. In this role, you will oversee program development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices while fostering a culture of inclusivity and support.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage vocational rehabilitation programs that meet the diverse needs of our clientele
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program effectiveness and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Conduct assessments to evaluate client needs and identify appropriate vocational training and placement opportunities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to program staff, promoting a supportive and growth-oriented work environment
- Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, employers, and training organizations to facilitate job placements
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, using data-driven insights to refine services and enhance outcomes
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in vocational rehabilitation or related social services program management
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing vocational rehabilitation services
- Proven track record of successfully managing programs and achieving measurable outcomes
Preferred:
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) or equivalent certification
- Experience with grant writing and program funding
- Familiarity with assistive technology and its application in vocational settings
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in case management software and data reporting tools
- Ability to utilize assessment tools for evaluating client needs and program effectiveness
- Experience with virtual training platforms and remote service delivery
