Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Career Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and evaluate career development programs that empower employees to achieve their professional goals while aligning with the organization's objectives. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, ensuring that all employees have access to the resources they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive career development programs, workshops, and resources tailored to diverse employee needs
- Conduct assessments and career counseling sessions to guide employees in their professional journeys
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify skills gaps and create targeted development initiatives
- Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of career development programs and adjust strategies as necessary
- Facilitate mentorship and coaching programs to foster employee engagement and retention
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance our career development offerings
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in career development, coaching, or human resources
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and career development frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to evaluate program impact
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Certification in career coaching or counseling (e.g., ICF, NCC)
- Experience in corporate training or talent development initiatives
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and career development software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
- Experience with virtual training platforms and online learning technologies
