Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Travel Nurse Manager to oversee and optimize our travel nursing operations. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while managing a diverse team of travel nurses across various healthcare settings. You will be responsible for developing strategies that enhance nurse engagement, streamline recruitment processes, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the travel nursing team, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and job satisfaction.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top travel nursing talent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and patient care standards.
- Oversee onboarding and training programs for travel nurses, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Monitor and evaluate nurse performance, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews to promote professional growth.
- Collaborate with healthcare facilities to assess staffing needs and ensure adequate nurse coverage, while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Manage compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring all travel nurses meet licensure and credentialing requirements.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and optimize the travel nursing program.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- 5+ years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of travel nursing operations, including recruitment, compliance, and workforce management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and manage complex staffing challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to leverage insights for decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
- Experience with travel nurse staffing software or systems.
- Certifications in nursing leadership or management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
