Role Overview

Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in tooling design and engineering, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling technologies, including CAD software and CNC machining.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept through to implementation while meeting timelines and budget objectives.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in automotive, aerospace, or high-volume production.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in engineering management.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling design.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana) and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of metallurgical properties and how they affect tooling performance.
