Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Time and Attendance Manager to oversee our company's attendance policies and systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate tracking and reporting of employee attendance, which directly influences payroll and compliance. You will be instrumental in driving process improvements and implementing technology solutions that optimize attendance management across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage attendance policies and procedures that comply with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee the timekeeping system to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours, attendance, and leave requests.
- Analyze attendance data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and address any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless integration of attendance data with payroll processing.
- Provide training and support to managers and employees on attendance policies and the timekeeping system.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and attendance awareness.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in time and attendance management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to attendance and leave.
- Proven experience with attendance tracking systems and payroll software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data integration.
- Certifications in HR or payroll management are a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in timekeeping software and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Paylocity).
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with payroll.
