Role Overview
As the Lead Flight Crew Time Clerk at [$COMPANY_NAME], you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate tracking and management of flight crew time and attendance. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the timekeeping process for flight crew members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and company regulations.
- Collaborate with flight operations and scheduling teams to resolve discrepancies in crew time records and attendance.
- Implement and maintain timekeeping systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Prepare and submit reports related to crew time, attendance, and compliance metrics to management.
- Lead training sessions for new hires on timekeeping procedures and policies, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Act as the primary point of contact for crew members regarding timekeeping inquiries, providing exceptional support and guidance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in aviation or a related field with a strong understanding of flight crew scheduling and timekeeping processes.
- Proficiency in timekeeping software and databases, with the ability to generate detailed reports and analyze data.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with crew members and operational teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in a lead or supervisory role within an aviation environment.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance standards related to flight crew operations.
- Familiarity with electronic flight bags (EFB) and crew management systems.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using timekeeping and scheduling software, such as Kronos or similar systems.
- Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems as necessary to improve operational processes.
