Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Student Success to lead our initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall student experience and outcomes. Responsibilities
- Design and execute a comprehensive student success strategy that aligns with institutional goals and enhances student engagement and retention.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of student success professionals, ensuring effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with academic departments and support services to create a seamless, student-centered experience across all touchpoints.
- Utilize data analytics to assess student needs, track progress, and identify areas for improvement in student services and programs.
- Implement initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the student body and enhance the sense of belonging for all students.
- Engage with students, faculty, and staff to cultivate relationships and gather feedback to inform program development and enhancement.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Education, Student Affairs, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in student success or higher education administration, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and program development.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Proven ability to foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a diverse educational environment.
- Familiarity with best practices in student engagement, retention strategies, and academic support services.
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in student information systems (SIS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies for evaluating student success metrics.
- Ability to leverage technology to enhance student engagement and communication.
