Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Instructional Assistant to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents
- Support behavioral and emotional needs through positive reinforcement and intervention strategies
- Facilitate inclusive classroom activities that promote social interaction and collaboration
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of students
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in education or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with students with disabilities or special needs
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and the ability to adapt teaching methods
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Special Education or related areas
- Experience using assistive technology and educational software
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- First Aid and CPR certification
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using technology tools for educational purposes, including digital learning platforms
- Ability to assist in the utilization of adaptive equipment and resources
- Familiarity with data tracking systems for monitoring student progress
