Role Overview

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in special education or related fields is preferred.
- Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of IEPs and special education laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Special Education Aide or similar qualification.
- Experience with behavior intervention plans and positive behavior support strategies.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive learning tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using educational software and tools to facilitate learning.
- Basic knowledge of data tracking systems for monitoring student progress.
