Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Aide to join our dynamic educational team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. - Assist with daily living skills and personal care as needed, ensuring the comfort and dignity of students.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in special education or related fields is a plus.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities or special needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students in their learning journey.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a special education aide or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of special education laws, policies, and best practices.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
