Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SCCM Architect to lead the design and implementation of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) solutions. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to optimize enterprise systems management and ensure seamless deployment, configuration, and monitoring across diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of SCCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
- Develop and implement SCCM deployment strategies for operating systems and applications across varied environments
- Evaluate and optimize the current SCCM infrastructure, providing recommendations for enhancements and upgrades
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet organizational needs
- Monitor system performance and health, troubleshooting issues promptly to ensure optimal operations
- Establish and maintain documentation for SCCM configurations, processes, and procedures
- Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices and advanced SCCM functionalities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on SCCM architecture and deployment
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Proven experience in designing and implementing SCCM solutions for large-scale environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with performance tuning of SCCM
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation of SCCM tasks
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and cloud-based management solutions
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate)
- Knowledge of security best practices for systems management
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in Microsoft SCCM and its components (e.g., Software Distribution, Operating System Deployment, Reporting)
- Strong understanding of Windows client and server operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
