Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Rehabilitation Psychology to lead our innovative team focused on enhancing the psychological well-being of individuals undergoing rehabilitation. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement evidence-based psychological practices, fostering a culture of excellence and compassionate care while driving strategic initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive rehabilitation psychology programs that align with organizational goals and patient needs.
- Oversee clinical services, ensuring the highest standards of psychological assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that address the psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects of rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff, promoting best practices in rehabilitation psychology.
- Monitor program effectiveness through data-driven assessments and research, adjusting strategies as necessary to enhance patient care.
- Advocate for mental health initiatives within the organization and the broader community.
- Stay abreast of advancements in rehabilitation psychology and integrate new evidence into practice.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology, with a specialization in rehabilitation psychology.
- Licensure as a psychologist in the relevant state(s).
- 5+ years of clinical experience in rehabilitation psychology, including supervisory or leadership roles.
- Proven track record in program development and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data to inform clinical practices and policy.
Preferred:
- Experience in telehealth and remote service delivery models.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and accreditation processes related to rehabilitation psychology.
- Membership in relevant professional organizations.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and testing methodologies.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Deep understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and rehabilitation interventions.
