Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Sports Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in recreation programming and facility management, with a proven track record of successful program implementation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and community engagement.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with grant writing and fundraising to support recreational initiatives.
- Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in recreation management software and data analysis tools for program tracking and reporting.
- Experience with social media and marketing strategies to promote programs and increase community engagement.
- Knowledge of health and wellness trends to incorporate into programming.
