Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Director of Recreation to lead and innovate our recreational programs, fostering community engagement and promoting wellness through diverse and inclusive activities. Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in recreation program management or a related area, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Strong understanding of community needs and the ability to design inclusive programs that serve diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in grant writing and fundraising for recreational programs.
- Certification in recreation management or a related professional certification.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in program management software and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with community engagement platforms and social media for outreach.
- Knowledge of safety and risk management practices in recreational settings.
