Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Manager to lead our radiology department at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, staffing, and quality assurance

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of radiologic technologists and support staff, promoting a collaborative working environment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of radiology equipment, ensuring optimal performance
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Manage departmental budgets and financial performance, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in radiology, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology and state licensure
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Proven leadership and team management skills
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Experience with the implementation of advanced imaging technologies
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and radiology information systems (RIS)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in radiology protocols and best practices
- Proficient in managing radiology information systems and imaging software
- Knowledge of quality assurance and performance improvement methodologies
