Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for various radiological procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate radiologic equipment under the supervision of senior staff, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the maintenance and cleanliness of radiology equipment and workspace, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in continuous education opportunities to enhance professional skills and stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of radiographic techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting through internships or externships.
- Knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS) and electronic health records (EHR).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with radiographic imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy.
- Understanding of safety protocols and radiation protection principles.
- Proficiency in using medical imaging software and systems.
