Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Quality Control to lead our quality assurance efforts across all production processes at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Lead quality control teams in the execution of quality assurance processes, including inspection, testing, and validation of products.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive decision-making, and report on quality performance to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into product development and production processes.
- Ensure effective training programs are in place to promote quality awareness and compliance across the organization.
- Manage relationships with external regulatory agencies and certification bodies, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices and innovative quality methodologies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA).
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager).
- Experience in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA).
- Experience with quality management software and tools.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
