Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality assurance processes within our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems that ensure our products meet both internal standards and external regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive quality control strategy that aligns with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Lead the quality assurance team in evaluating and improving manufacturing processes to minimize defects and enhance product reliability.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot quality issues and drive root cause analysis for corrective actions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics, reporting on progress and areas of concern to senior management.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective quality control systems.
- Strong knowledge of quality management standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) and regulatory compliance.
Preferred:
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt).
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools for quality data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
