Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Director of Quality Control to lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role is critical in establishing a quality-first culture across all operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control strategies that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing quality control team, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Establish and oversee quality metrics, ensuring effective tracking and reporting of quality performance across all products.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and regulatory teams to ensure product quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address quality issues proactively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully leading quality improvement initiatives that resulted in measurable outcomes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Preferred:
- Experience in [specific industry relevant to the company, e.g., pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, etc.].
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent quality management certification.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

- Familiarity with laboratory and manufacturing quality systems.
- Experience with relevant software applications for quality management and reporting.
