Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Quality Control to lead our quality assurance initiatives and drive continuous improvement across our products and processes. This is a pivotal role where you will establish quality standards, oversee compliance, and champion a culture of excellence throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control strategy that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the quality assurance team in executing rigorous testing processes, ensuring products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and refine quality control processes, leveraging data analytics and industry best practices.
- Foster a culture of quality and compliance across the organization through training and awareness programs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and quality excellence.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience implementing quality management systems and driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable quality strategies.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering).
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, root cause analysis).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in quality management systems and methodologies.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and software for quality metrics tracking.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance tracking systems.
