Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:

- 5+ years of experience in archival management or related roles, with a proven track record of leadership
- In-depth knowledge of archival principles, practices, and standards, including familiarity with metadata standards and preservation techniques
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred:
- Experience with digital archiving and electronic records management
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools, such as Archivematica, AtoM, or similar systems
- Professional certification from a recognized archival organization (e.g., Certified Archivist)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in archival management software and digital asset management systems
- Familiarity with preservation techniques for various media types, including paper, photographs, and digital records
- Understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to archival materials
