Role Overview

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Library Science, Archival Science, History, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in archival management, with a demonstrated track record of leading archival initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of archival standards, practices, and technologies, including experience with digital preservation and metadata standards.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a diverse team of professionals, driving engagement and professional development.
Preferred:
- Experience working with large-scale archival collections in various formats (physical and digital).
- Familiarity with grant writing and securing funding for archival projects.
- Strong publication record in archival science or related fields.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in archival management software and tools, such as ArchivesSpace or similar platforms.
- Experience with digital asset management systems and digital rights management.
