Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Peoplesoft Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this entry-level role, you will support the administration and maintenance of our Peoplesoft applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability. You will collaborate with senior administrators and other IT staff to learn best practices and develop your skills in a critical enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and configuration of Peoplesoft applications, including monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Support user access management, including creating and maintaining user accounts and security roles.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing activities to ensure smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Document processes and procedures related to Peoplesoft administration and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance and functionality.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in IT support or administration, preferably with exposure to Peoplesoft applications.
- Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Familiarity with system administration tasks and troubleshooting methodologies.
Preferred:
- Experience with Peoplesoft modules such as HCM or Financials.
- Knowledge of PeopleTools and PeopleCode.
- Relevant certifications in Peoplesoft or related technologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Foundational knowledge of Peoplesoft architecture and functionality.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with web technologies and server management.
