Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and facilitating optimal surgical outcomes through your expertise and vigilance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and ready for use
- Assist in patient positioning, monitoring vital signs, and administering anesthesia as directed by the anesthesiologist
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and comprehensively, adhering to hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Current nursing licensure in [$COMPANY_LOCATION] and certification as an Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a surgical setting
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop care plans
