Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Head of Microbiology to lead our microbiology department. Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Microbiology or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience in microbiological research.
- Proven track record of leadership in a laboratory setting, with experience managing teams and projects.
- Strong understanding of microbiological techniques, including culture methods, molecular biology, and microbial genetics.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in a laboratory environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical setting.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals demonstrating expertise in microbiology.
- Strong networking skills and ability to collaborate with external partners and stakeholders.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in microbiological assays and methodologies.
- Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data analysis software.
- Understanding of bioinformatics tools and their application in microbiology research.
