Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements based on production schedules and sales forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Analyze inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize waste.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory status, supplier performance, and material costs for management review.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, ISM) is a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using ERP systems for inventory management (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.
