Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facilities. This role is critical to ensuring the optimal functionality of our equipment and infrastructure, while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement among our maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance reliability and efficiency of equipment.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of necessary tools and supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and support production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards regarding safety and maintenance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of maintenance management systems and methodologies.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or similar.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and tools.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
