Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that will ensure optimal performance and longevity of our facilities and equipment. You will lead a team of technicians while collaborating closely with other departments to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the maintenance schedule to ensure timely and effective maintenance of all equipment and facilities
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Oversee the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to manage maintenance budgets and optimize resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as environmental standards
- Utilize data analysis to track maintenance performance metrics and drive improvements
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience in leading maintenance teams and managing large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Preferred:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
- Certifications in Maintenance Management (e.g., CMRP, CRL) are a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and methodologies
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
