Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Labor Training Manager to support our workforce development initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, implement, and improve training programs that enhance employee skills and productivity across our operations. Your contributions will be pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of our workforce
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skills gaps and training opportunities, ensuring alignment with operational goals
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs, utilizing various instructional techniques and technologies
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, collecting feedback to facilitate continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of training completion and employee progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support the creation of training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources to enhance learning outcomes
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a labor-intensive environment
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Preferred:
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory training role
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and training management systems
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, ATD certification)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Ability to analyze training needs and assess training effectiveness quantitatively and qualitatively
- Knowledge of relevant labor laws and compliance training requirements
