Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Labor Relations Consultant to join our dynamic team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this role, you will support senior consultants in advising clients on labor relations strategies, helping to ensure effective communication and collaboration between management and employees. Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting research on labor laws, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients
- Support the development of labor relations strategies to address client-specific challenges and objectives
- Participate in client meetings, documenting discussions and action items to ensure clear communication
- Compile and analyze data related to labor relations issues, preparing reports to inform stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior consultants on union negotiations and grievance processes
- Contribute to the development of training materials and sessions for clients on labor relations topics
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
- Internship or work experience in labor relations, human resources, or a related field
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations
- Experience with data analysis tools or software
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with HRIS or labor relations management systems
- Basic understanding of data analytics tools is a plus
