Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to spearhead our talent development initiatives at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic learning and development roadmap that aligns with business objectives and employee needs
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations, and design targeted learning solutions
- Lead the implementation of training programs, workshops, and e-learning initiatives to promote skill enhancement and knowledge transfer
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through metrics and feedback, continuously improving offerings based on outcomes
- Collaborate with leadership to identify key competencies and skills required for success in various roles
- Design and facilitate leadership development programs to cultivate future leaders within the organization
- Foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement by implementing mentoring and coaching initiatives
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing effective training programs
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Certification in Learning and Development (e.g., ATD, SHRM, or equivalent)
- Experience in a corporate environment within a fast-paced industry
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Cornerstone, TalentLMS, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with e-learning development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
- Strong analytical skills to assess training program effectiveness and ROI
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges
