Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Instrumentation Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of instrumentation systems that are critical to our projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to learn about various technologies and practices that drive our operations and ensure the safety and efficiency of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of instrumentation systems, including sensors, control systems, and data acquisition devices
- Support the calibration and maintenance of instrumentation equipment to ensure accurate readings and optimal performance
- Participate in testing and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems to diagnose and resolve issues
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop documentation and technical specifications for instrumentation projects
- Contribute to the analysis of data collected from instrumentation systems to inform decision-making and improve system performance
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with basic electrical and instrumentation principles
- Experience with data analysis software and tools
Preferred:
- Internship or project experience in instrumentation or control systems
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++
- Understanding of industrial standards and safety regulations
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation hardware and software
- Familiarity with control systems and automation
- Experience with data acquisition and management systems
