Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Instrument Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the maintenance, calibration, and repair of various instrumentation and control systems. Your contributions will ensure operational efficiency and safety across our projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems
- Calibrate instruments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Support senior technicians in evaluating system performance and developing solutions to improve functionality
- Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of equipment performance
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and safety protocols
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in Instrumentation Technology or a related field
- Basic understanding of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation
- Familiarity with calibration procedures and testing equipment
Preferred:
- Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of process control systems and industry standards
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Understanding of control loops and process instrumentation
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems and software
