Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and strategic VP of Hospice Operations to lead our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes across all hospice locations.
- Lead the management of daily operations, including clinical services, financial performance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and operational enhancements.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality, compassionate care that meets the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Oversee staff development and training programs to build a skilled, motivated workforce dedicated to hospice care excellence.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, community organizations, and healthcare partners.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within hospice or palliative care settings.
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in end-of-life care.
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving financial targets while maintaining high-quality patient care.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and data analytics tools to optimize operational performance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
