Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Generator Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our generator systems. This role is critical in overseeing maintenance operations, enhancing performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities for generator systems, ensuring timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of generators to identify areas for improvement and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
- Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and integration of generator systems within larger energy solutions.
- Manage inventory and procurement of necessary parts and equipment, optimizing cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation for regulatory audits.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in generator maintenance or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proven track record of implementing maintenance best practices and improving operational efficiency.
Preferred:
- Technical degree or certifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements specific to generator operations.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
