Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of materials properties and failure mechanisms
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and equipment
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
Preferred:
- Internship or project experience related to materials engineering or forensic analysis
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Minitab)
- Exposure to industry standards related to materials testing and quality assurance
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with materials characterization techniques such as microscopy, spectroscopy, and mechanical testing
- Familiarity with CAD software for design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus
