Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with metallurgical principles and material properties
- Basic experience with laboratory testing techniques and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred:
- Internship or co-op experience in metallurgical or materials engineering
- Knowledge of metal processing techniques and failure analysis
- Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis and material modeling
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Understanding of metallurgical processes such as casting, forging, and welding
- Familiarity with materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, hardness testing)
- Basic knowledge of CAD software for designing and analyzing components
