Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Flight Scheduling Manager to oversee and optimize our flight scheduling operations. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient use of our fleet while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. You will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and improving the overall travel experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic scheduling protocols that minimize operational costs while maximizing aircraft utilization
- Collaborate with various departments including operations, maintenance, and customer service to ensure seamless flight operations
- Monitor and analyze scheduling performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Lead scheduling projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company goals
- Act as a primary point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and issue resolution
- Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in flight scheduling or aviation management
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations and industry standards
- Proven ability to manage complex scheduling scenarios and optimize fleet utilization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience with scheduling software and tools
- Knowledge of airline operations and logistics
- Project management certification or equivalent experience
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in scheduling software and operational systems
- Excellent data analysis skills and familiarity with data visualization tools
- Understanding of flight operations management systems
