Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Facility Manager to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will support the Facility Manager in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Your contributions will be critical in promoting a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of facility operations, including maintenance, security, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility-related services, ensuring quality and compliance
- Support the development and implementation of facility management policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in the budgeting process for facility management, tracking expenses, and reporting on facility costs
- Collaborate with internal teams to address facility-related requests and issues in a timely manner
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in facility management or a related field
- Strong understanding of facility maintenance and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with facility management software and tools
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in facility management
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with facility management software (e.g., FMX, Archibus)
- Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
