Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our HR team. In this fully remote role, you will play a critical part in managing and enhancing our employee benefits programs, ensuring that our team members receive the support they need to thrive both professionally and personally.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate information
- Collaborate with benefits providers to manage open enrollment periods and communicate changes to employees
- Analyze benefits data to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and retention
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits
- Assist with the development of training materials and workshops to educate employees about their benefits options
- Support the HR team with various projects as needed, including wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in employee benefits administration or HR coordination
- Strong understanding of employee benefits regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with employee wellness programs and initiatives
- Familiarity with benefits administration software
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using HRIS systems for benefits administration
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and reporting
- Knowledge of relevant benefits legislation (e.g., COBRA, HIPAA)

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
