Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Vice President of Employee Benefits to lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive benefits programs that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to transform our benefits landscape, ensuring alignment with our overall organizational goals and culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a visionary benefits strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and supports employee well-being
- Lead the evaluation and selection of benefit providers, negotiating contracts to ensure competitive offerings and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and legal, to ensure compliance and effective communication of benefits programs
- Analyze market trends and employee feedback to continuously improve benefits offerings and adapt to changing needs
- Champion initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within benefits programs
- Oversee the administration of benefits programs, ensuring optimal service delivery and employee satisfaction
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the benefits team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in employee benefits management, with a proven track record in a leadership role
- Deep understanding of benefits legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership role within a large, complex organization
- Strong background in designing innovative benefits programs that drive employee engagement
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar certification
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration platforms
- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies
- Strong understanding of budget management and financial forecasting
