Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will support the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring that our employees receive the necessary information and support regarding their benefits options. You will play a key role in enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement through effective benefits communication and management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Respond to employee inquiries about benefits, providing accurate and timely information
- Coordinate benefits enrollment processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintain and update benefits documentation and employee records
- Assist in the development and delivery of benefits communication materials to employees
- Support the HR team in benefits-related projects and initiatives
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in an HR or benefits administration role, preferably in a corporate environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Preferred:
- Familiarity with employee benefits administration software and tools
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits
- Previous experience in customer service or support roles
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and benefits administration software
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting
