Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Employee Benefits to lead the design, implementation, and management of innovative employee benefits programs. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive employee benefits strategy that aligns with the overall mission and values of [$COMPANY_NAME]
- Lead the evaluation and selection of employee benefits providers, ensuring competitive offerings and cost-effective solutions
- Oversee the administration of all employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other ancillary benefits

- Serve as the primary liaison with external benefits consultants and vendors, fostering strong partnerships

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in employee benefits management, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of benefits design, administration, and compliance, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA regulations
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that enhance employee engagement and retention
- Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive decision-making
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships
Preferred:
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing organization with a focus on innovation in employee benefits
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CEBS, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in HRIS and benefits administration systems, with experience in data analysis tools
- Familiarity with employee engagement platforms and wellness initiatives
- Understanding of compensation benchmarking and market analysis tools
