Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and experienced Director of Benefits to lead our benefits program at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and leave policies
- Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark benefits offerings against industry standards and make recommendations for enhancements
- Develop and implement communication plans to educate employees about benefits programs and promote utilization
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage benefits budgets and forecast future costs
- Lead vendor negotiations and manage relationships with benefits providers to ensure optimal service delivery
- Analyze benefits data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements that drive employee satisfaction and retention
- Stay current on benefits legislation and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on strategy development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, compliance, and best practices
- Proven experience in vendor negotiation and management
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience with benefits technology solutions and HRIS systems
- Certification in benefits or compensation (e.g., Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, Certified Compensation Professional)
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in HRIS systems and benefits administration software
- Strong understanding of benefits compliance, including ERISA, ACA, and COBRA regulations
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate benefits programs
