Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Manage the inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for emergency situations
- Participate in training and development programs for new technicians and staff
- Contribute to the development of emergency department policies and procedures
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience as an Emergency Room Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting
- Certification as a National Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of emergency medical procedures and protocols
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field
- Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in the use of emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators, ventilators, and monitoring devices
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with EHR software and data management tools
