Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Elevator Installation Supervisor to lead our installation teams in delivering high-quality elevator systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our installations meet both safety standards and customer satisfaction, while also mentoring and developing the skills of our technicians.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of elevator installation projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with local and national codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to assess project requirements and timelines.
- Implement rigorous safety protocols and ensure all team members are trained in best practices.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and troubleshoot installation challenges as they arise.
- Lead, mentor, and train installation technicians in technical skills and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance within the installation team.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in elevator installation, repair, or maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing installation teams.
- Strong understanding of elevator mechanics, electrical systems, and safety codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Preferred:
- Experience with various elevator systems including hydraulic, traction, and machine-room-less elevators.
- Certifications from recognized elevator industry organizations.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of elevator installation techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in using project management tools to track progress and communicate with stakeholders.
