Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our diesel engine fleet. This role will involve overseeing maintenance operations, developing strategies for preventative maintenance, and managing a team of skilled technicians to maintain high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance activities for diesel engines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and enhance engine performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in diesel engine maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and maintenance practices.
- Proven experience in developing maintenance schedules and managing a maintenance team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
Preferred:
- Certification in diesel technology or a related field.
- Experience with modern diagnostic tools and software for engine performance analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment for engine troubleshooting.
- Experience with maintenance management software and systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems in diesel engines.
